Yesterday, I had a “tiny crisis” due to the lack of coverage of Earl & Countess at the Commonwealth Games on the 5th day. However, Ady Kerry is a photographer whom I ‘met’ when I was writing a post on The Countess of Wessex’s visit to England Hockey at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, back in March. With huge thanks to his kindness I can share a picture!

The Earl & Countess with daughter Lady Louise, were seen cheering during the women’s hockey match between Australia and England. The Countess is a Patron of England Hockey.

Looks like after the match, Sophie took her daughter home, she looked very sleepy in pictures at Express UK article. She must have been tired from the day before. However Earl continued his support for the games. The Earl presented medals at the Badminton Mixed Teams finals at Emirates Arena. Later he was seen with the Cambridges and Prince Harry watching Wales v Scotland Hockey match at the Glasgow National Hockey Centre.

Prince Edward did a radio interview in which he described issues with opening the Commonwealth baton at the opening ceremony of the Games. Speaking to 5 live’s Eleanor Oldroyd, the Earl of Wessex thought the problem helped people relax. Direct link here, embedding didn’t work. Daily Mail article can be found here.
