While in British Columbia, Saskatchewan (only Prince Edward) and Ontario (only The Countess of Wessex) Their Royal Highnesses will participate in various events for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and a wide cross section of community organizations.

12 September (Friday) Day 1 – Victoria B.C.
Their Royal Highnesses begun their visit in Victoria with a public arrival at Government House on Friday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m.

His Royal Highness reviewed a Guard of Honour from the Royal Canadian Navy. Members of the public were able to view the arrival ceremony in front of Government House.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex were given a piece of jewelry, collaboratively created by April Lacheur and ‘Shi Studio‘. April Lacheur hand embellished canvas prints of her original ‘Dogwood Breeze’ painting which was then beautifully encased under glass by Cory Judge of Shi Studio to create pendants and cuff links.

Thank you VERY much for your coverage of all the great work Sophie (and Edward) does – there has been absolutely NO coverage of this on UK news and yet other Royals get huge amounts of coverage it seems SO unfair.
