What the future holds…

It’s hard to believe that almost a year has passed by, since I started writing this blog. I started it because of my admiration for HRH The Countess of Wessex and her work ethic. Also because I was constantly frustrated with the lack of info in press about HRH’s engagements. I don’t think I would finally have decided to do so, if not the support of my two friends and fellow royal bloggers: Susan from Whate Kate Wore & Carly from Kate Middleton Style Blog. They have been very helpful throughout the course and very patient with me. So thank you!

The Countess of Wessex attended Ascot Races alongside Prince Edward and their children Lady Louise and Viscount Severn.

Coverage of The Countess’ engagements can be very tricky, it’s hard to find pictures I could use at my blog. But many of the organizations HRH supports, is a Patron or President, or simply visited, have been very helpful and more than generous with providing me pictures and occassionaly press releases. So another huge thanks to the organizations and their photographers that were so kind & helpful. Also my huge thanks to Andrew Parsons of i-Images, who kindly agreed to “work” with me and my blog and thanks to his agency I have pictures of HRH from various royal events.

Next month, HRH The Countess of Wessex will be celebrating a huge milestone, 50th birthday! Because of that I am preparing few little throwback posts, hope you will enjoy them! Also Majesty Magazine‘s January issue will feature an article called “Sophie at 50”, cannot wait to read it. You can purchase your copy here.

As for the future, who knows what it holds. But I am looking forward to the next year with my readers, let’s hope it will be a good one or even better! Thank you for your support and lovely comments, emails, messages. They keep me going, really!

Your blog is the highlight of each morning when I sit and have a coffee for 10 mins before a busy day. THAK_YOU so much Anna and please keep it going. Sophie is beautiful in every way and you capture this in every post!

  2. I love your blog, and read it everyday here in the states! I truly appreciate all the hard work that you and the photographers do to make this blog happen. I agree that the countess doesn't receive the press coverage that she deserves. She works very hard for the royal family and her charities!
I love that the countess is wearing her hair down more now. It brings out her lovely features. Again, thank you for your dedication!

congratulations on your 1 year anniversary! managing a blog on someone who gets so little press attention takes a lot of work, and is a real accomplishment.

i really like and admire sophie for her dedication to her charities and royal engagements, no matter how little press attention it gets. i also admire her for building a strong family unit – arguably the most stable of the siblings' families. and, yes, it's just fun watching her grow in confidence and style as she gets older; i'm closer to sophie's age than kate's, and i cheer every time i see her undeniably polished, stylish appearance at a time when the press are focusing on the younger royals.

Merry Christmas and thank you for all you do. As an avid royal watcher especially of the BRF, I am happy for the spotlight placed on individual members via blogs. The spotlight on the Countess is welcomed and I hope it continues.

Thank you and, all the best for a happy and joyous New Year.

One year, well done! I love your blog as its the only one that shows all The Countess of Wessex's engagements. She is the most underrated and hard working of the Windsors. The Countess always appears natural and seems to really enjoy the visits to her charities.

    Thank you and Merry Christmas.

  7. Anna – thank you for all that you do on this blog about the lovely Countess. It is a very rare source of information and photos of her activities.

Whilst you thank us for keeping you going, you may not realise it but your blog gets me through most days – it is often a very welcome respite from daily life!

    Looking forward to a great 2015 – Have a magical Christmas too…
