Sunday Service at Sandringham for The Wessex’es!

Hello! I am back with Sunday’s post – as promised. The Earl & Countess of Wessex attended Sunday Service at St Mary Magdalene Church located on Sandringham estate – HM’s country retreat. Few pictures courtesy of Geoff Robinson, who was very kind, again!

Both Louise & James attended the service as well. Viscount was elegant in his suit, while Lady Louise wore her navy coat with velvet trim and that lovely Jane Taylor’s beret. I also like her black leather boots we have seen on Christmas Day. They are classy and simple. I would wear them myself.

The Countess brought back her Armani Collezioni coat, which debuted last year, she paired it with quite statement Philip Treacy’s hat, which dates back to 2006 or so. I know some people have a slight problem with this hat, as it is quite extra-ordinary. But I do love the colour and the festivity of it.

Prince Edward was wearing his favorite coat and some red tie. He is known for his choice of ties. They are never boring.

They were joined by other members of royal family, including The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge – that’s a first for them. More on that at my twin blog, later today.

I also noticed (apart from HM The Queen & The Duke of Edinburgh) Mike & Zara Tindall, Pince Charles, Prince Harry, Princess Royal with Sir Timothy Laurence, Viscount & Viscountess Linley, Lady Sarah Chatto’s boys (Samuel & Arthur) and Duke of York with Princess Beatrice.

Also I really liked an article in which Kate Walton – Service Manager for Mellor House, tells us about her experience when she met The Countess of Wessex earlier this year. You can read it here.

Outfit & jewellery:

Armani Collezioni Long sleeve oversized collar coat.
Hat by Philip Treacy, dates back to 2006.
New version of ‘back to front’ pearl earrings. Most likely Sophie added the smaller pearl in black (I think) and wears it with big pearl of Back-to-Front Pearl earrings by Heavenly Necklaces.

Hi Anna, first and foremost I want to thank you for your hard work in the making of this blog, is one of my absolute favourites and I rarely spend a day without checking it. 😀

Secondly is so amazing seeing the Wessex on christmas I got really excited when I saw James! He's a total cutie just like his sister.

Thirdly I would like to tell you about the Wessex christmas card. A couple from the romanian royal family released a photo and behind them, in the fire place were royal christmas cards from several families, sarahbellar tumblr identified some of them. [sarahbellar.tumblr.com/post/136001931345]

The Wessex card seems to this photo from their tour to Finland in February: twitter.com/ukinfinland/status/562970385353019392/photo/1

Happy festivities and a prosperous new year for everyone 😀
