DEBRA is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Epidermolysis Bullosa is a group of genetic skin conditions which cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch. There is currently no known cure for EB. At DEBRA, their work is focused on funding research to change this, while also supporting people living with EB to enhance their quality of life through improved healthcare, access to information and respite care. Daily Mail has pictures of HRH’s arrival and departure. You can view those here. Sophie was greeted by Anton Mosimann OBE, DL – Swiss chef and restaurateur who was Maitre Chef des Cuisines at the Dorchester Hotel for thirteen years. After leaving the Dorchester Mosimann created a private dining club called Mosimann’s, where today’s lunch took place. Mosimann terms his culinary style cuisine naturelle as it emphasises healthy and natural ingredients, avoiding additions of fat and alcohol.

In the evening, HRH The Countess of Wessex as Patron of Treloar Trust, attended an annual fundraising Gala Dinner at Mansion House, Walbrook in London. The Treloar Trust provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. HRH became Treloar’s Patron in 2012.
