Today, 14th of June, The Countess of Wessex as Stoll‘s Patron, attended the opening of the Centenary Lodge in Aldershot. Stoll is the leading provider of supported housing to vulnerable Veterans. Centenary Lodge on Evelyn Avenue, that was declared opened by The Countess of Wessex during her today’s visit, will be home to a mixed community of Veterans of different ages, their partners and families. People will also receive tailored support to meet their individual needs and enable residents to make steps towards living fulfilling and independent lives.

Ed Tytherleigh, Stoll’s CEO, said: “We are proud to be naming the new building Centenary Lodge as we broke ground as part of our own Centenary celebrations, as well as to commemorate the millions of lives lost in the First World War which ended 100 years ago in 1918. Our brand new development will enable some of our most vulnerable individuals who served in the Armed Forces to transition into civilian life effectively. We will provide tailored support to all our residents to ensure they can go on to lead fulfilling and independent lives.”

This expansion has added 34 homes to the existing total of 259 that Stoll currently provide for Veterans. Air Commodore, Andy Fryer, Stoll’s Chairman said: “Opening Centenary Lodge marks a significant milestone for Stoll. This development is the first Stoll scheme outside of London and will ensure many more vulnerable Veterans find a place to call home.”
That’s all for now, post will be updated if anything else will pop up. Article with official images can be found here. Today was the big day for The Duchess of Sussex who joined HM The Queen for a day of engagements, so all media & photographers were with them. I wonder how Sophie feels about losing Matthew Magee to BP and him along to tutor Meghan. I would love to see this dress without the cardigan, but maybe it was cold in that building.

I adore Sophie, but why is she always in a sweater. It makes her look dowdy and older than she is.
