Today The Wessex family attended a second day of Ascot Christmas Meeting at the famous Berkshire racecourse. Prince Edward and Sophie with kids were all in good spirits as they enjoyed a day at the Ascot Races. Sophie looked really stylish in her tweed suit, Lady Louise has chosen a dress with a fitting for the occasion horse print, while Prince Edward and his son Viscount James were smartly dressed in suits and fancy ties.
The Countess of Wessex presented Paul Duffy, owner of Reve De Sivola wih a prize, Sophie also presented top jockey Daryl Jacob with a bottle of Champagne after he won the JLT Long Walk Hurdle on Reve De Sivola. It is a final engagement on TRHs agenda, soon they will depart for a Christmas family gathering at Sandringham.
Ascot’s Christmas meeting is the most valuable day of Jumps racing and it features a the two mile £150,000 Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle, the highest profile event of its type outside the Cheltenham Festival. After Windsor Gov. UK. “Off the track, the whole family can join in some festive fun by taking a ride at the fairground, experience Christmas tales live from the cosy confines of the Bandstand and even meet Santa’s reindeer!”

very nice outfit! she looks better than she did in 2009. she's lost a little weight, but also i think leaving the top button on the suit unbuttoned makes the jacket look less tight and boxy.
the whole family look well-turned out, and having a nice family outing.
