Happy Easter everyone, hope you all enjoy family time, and that the weather is lovely! We had sun, rain, wind and even snow, all in one day! Her Majesty arrived by car alongside the Duke of Edinburgh at St George’s Chapel where she was greeted by the Dean of Windsor, the Right Reverend David Connor.
The Earl & Countess of Wessex with Lady Louise have joined The Queen and Prince Philip along with the rest of royal family for a traditional Easter Sunday church service at Windsor Castle.
The Countess has walked with her daughter Lady Louise, Princess Beatrice and Autumn Phillips (the wife of the Queen’s grandson Peter Phillips), Autumn’s hat is by Emily-London (info via Daily Mail).
Sophie looked very happy and relaxed, her daughter has grown into a lovely lady. It’s always a joy to see those two together. Lady Louise’s dress is by Dolce & Gabbana Poplin Rosehip Print from SS2014, her coat is by Pale Cloud in Aida style, it was worn several times before.
Others who attended today’s service: Prince Andrew, Princess Anne with her husband Timothy Laurence and her son Peter Phillips, also Lady Sarah Chatto with her family. There were few other members with whom I’m not familiar.
We haven’t seen The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge – to be true, they haven’t attended this service in Windsor yet. The Duchess however is preparing for the birth of her second child. I hope it will be a girl, though it doesn’t really matter, as long as child is healthy. More in articles by Daily Mail & Express, Zimbio gallery, video via Telegraph.
